The Rock Church of Gulf Breeze was founded by Pastor Jonathan Arneault and his wife, Sister Tricia Arneault, with the mission of bringing the love of Jesus to the city of Gulf Breeze.
Together they have pastored the church since its inception: sharing the gospel, discipling a community of believers, and sowing seeds of revival in our wonderful beachside city.
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth, and all things. He created mankind in His own image so that we can live in His presence. He is the one and only living God, as He is identified in the Bible:
Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one!
Deuteronomy 6:4
In Jesus Christ dwells all the fullness of God bodily, according to the scripture:
For in Him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily; and you are complete in Him, who is the head of all principality and power.
Colossians 2:9-10
All of humankind has sinned and each of us falls short of God’s glory. To be our redeemer, God came to the earth in the form of His own son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
John 3:16-17
While Jesus walked the earth, He spoke of believing in Him, and the requirement of baptism:
Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.
John 3:5
After Jesus was crucified, and later rose from the grave in three days, Jesus spoke to the disciples. He told them of a new covenant:
for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.
Acts 1:5
This Holy Spirit is the spirit of Jesus within us. A believer repents and is baptized with water in Jesus’ name, and baptized with the Holy Spirit.
Then Peter said to them, “Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Acts 2:38
When we are filled with the Holy Spirit, the Bible says the evidence will be presented: speaking in other tongues.
And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Acts 2:4
Jesus made it very clear who He is, and what He wants us, His church, to do.
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.
Matthew 28:18-20
We want to live for Jesus at all times. We believe that He has established a promise with His church and wants to redeem the world to Himself. We take part in sharing the gospel with all people, sharing the love, joy, and salvation of Jesus Christ.
We want to hear your story too.
Get connected below and start our journey together in Christ. We are excited to get in touch with you and welcome you to our church family!
